PSA congratulates Class of 2023

The Public Servants Association (PSA) congratulates 2023 matriculants on the impressive 82.9% pass rate recently announced by the Minister of Basic Education.

This accomplishment reflects the dedication and commitment demonstrated by learners in their studies. Amidst the challenges faced by the Department of Basic Education, this pass rate further serves as testament to the unwavering commitment and sacrifices made by educators. Their efforts contribute to the continuous improvement of the education standard, yielding significant returns on investment. The PSA commends both learners and educators for achieving these successful outcomes. Additionally, the PSA acknowledges the crucial role played by parents and all stakeholders in contributing to this remarkable success.

The PSA was honoured and proud to have donated 3 000 solar-rechargeable lights to disadvantaged Grade-11 and -12 learners across the country in 2023. This intervention allowed these learners the continue with their studies during loadshedding periods, thus aiding in their success.

Learners who may not have achieved the desired outcomes are encouraged not to lose heart as success is not defined by how one falls, but rather by the determination and resilience demonstrated in getting back up.

Congratulations to all matriculants! Let the spirit of perseverance guide you in your future endeavours.
