THE ANC VETERANS LEAGUE CELEBRATES TATA ANDREW MLANGENI’S 95th BIRTHDAY
The ANC Veterans League conveys its best wishes to Isithwalandwe/Seaparankoe Tata Mlangeni on this 95-th birthday.
Tata Mlangeni is the last remaining Rivonia trialist.Tata Mlangeni was one the high commanders of Umkhonto We Sizwe-Armed wing of the ANC who were arrested on the 11 July 1963 in Rivonia.He was sentenced to life imprisonment with other leaders of the ANC for their participation in the struggle for liberation.
Tata Mlangeni though being frail and sickly has always been very active and is still a member of the ANC’s Integrity Commission.
He is the signatory of 101 letter –For The Sake of Our Future –by ANC Stalwarts and Veterans who called on the ANC to reclaim the public trust and spend time on moral introspection. They also demanded action against those implicated in State Capture and which undermined the values, principles and traditions of the ANC.

We will work hard to unite our glorious movement and ensure that we deliver on our set objectives .We will help our movement to strengthen governance, tackle corruption, incompetence and mismanagement.
